Overview
An internal vacancy at a national integrated security services provider, within the Security Technology Division, responsible for designing, advising and overseeing the implementation of integrated electronic security and fire detection system solutions — including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Intrusion Detection and Electric Fencing — while acting as a trusted senior technical advisor to clients, sales and operational teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in electronic security & fire detection system design and installations
- Advanced knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Intrusion Detection and Electric Fencing
- Strong project management capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Relevant technical certifications
- Valid driver's licence
Technical Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of integrated electronic security and fire detection systems including CCTV, access control, fire detection, intrusion detection, electric fencing and associated technologies; system design including schematics and bills of quantity; installation, commissioning and quality-assurance processes; regulatory and compliance requirements within the electronic security industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based site assessments and technical evaluations to determine appropriate security solutions
- Design integrated electronic security & fire detection solutions — including schematics and bills of quantity — aligned to client needs and industry standards
- Select suitable products and technologies to ensure sustainability and cost efficiency
- Oversee small, medium and enterprise-scale security system installations
- Implement standardised installation processes and quality-control checkpoints (pre-install, mid-install, commissioning)
- Act as escalation authority for complex technical issues and advanced problem resolution
- Provide technical support and advisory services to sales, operations and clients
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence and alignment with company standards
- Drive cost optimisation and product standardisation
- Maintain executive-level client engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to product offerings
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and handover documentation (as-built drawings and asset registers)

Working Conditions
Full-time with potential overtime; availability for evenings/weekends when operationally required; regular travel to client sites and field-based work.
