Business Development Consultant – SIOT Division

Overview: An internal vacancy at a national integrated security services provider for a highly driven, results-oriented Business Development Consultant within the SIOT (technology-driven security solutions) division. Requirements: - Proven experience in business development and solution-based sales - Experience within the electronic security or technology solutions industry advantageous - Strong understanding of integrated security solutions and related technologies - Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and manage a structured sales pipeline - Strong client relationship management abilities - Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required - PSIRA registered, Grade A Key Responsibilities: - Drive monthly and annual sales revenue growth in line with company targets - Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and client engagement - Conduct professional site assessments and client needs analyses - Design and present tailored technology security solutions including CCTV/intelligent video analytics, alarm and off-site monitoring, access control systems, perimeter protection and remote monitoring platforms - Prepare quotations, proposals and solution presentations - Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline through the CRM system - Build and maintain strong client relationships with excellent customer service - Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities - Ensure sales administration and reporting requirements are completed accurately and timeously Key Competencies: - Business development and prospecting - Solution-based selling - Negotiation and closing skills - Communication and presentation skills - Time management and self-discipline - Customer relationship management - Commercial awareness and sales acumen
