Job Description: Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Salary: R18,000 – R30,000 basic salary + commission, dependent on experience level and sales history. The Role: As IT Sales Executive for Software & Telecommunications, you will: • Generate new business by leveraging existing and potential client networks. • Identify prospective clients and develop tailored approach strategies. • Actively seek out new sales opportunities via cold-calling, networking and social media. • Maintain a clear and accurate sales opportunity pipeline. • Set up meetings with potential clients, assess their needs and articulate how our solutions add value. • Produce and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. • Deliver technical overviews and demonstrations of software/telecom solutions. • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to maximize results. • Collaborate closely with the team to improve performance and identify growth opportunities. • Stay informed of industry advancements and adapt to fast-paced technology changes. Candidate Profile: • A genuine passion for technology and how it empowers ambitious organisations. • Demonstrable experience in a business-development role within IT or Technology sectors. • Strong consultative sales methodology. • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets. • Ability to develop relationships across both operational and business-decision levels. • Clear understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into IT/telecom solutions. • Confidence presenting in meetings (strategy reviews, service reviews, project updates). • Ability to embrace change in a dynamic, fast-growing organisation. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Cloud services (Office 365, Azure) and ability to align business goals with IT.
