Business Development Manager – MASC Solutions

Overview: A national integrated security services provider is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager with proven expertise in Fire Detection and Gas Suppression Systems, responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business within the South African electronic security, fire detection and gas suppression industry. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years' sales experience in electronic security, fire detection and gas suppression - Proven track record in system design and solution-based sales - Demonstrated leadership experience - SAQCC certification - Fire Detection & Gas Suppression Skills & Competencies: - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Analytical and strategic thinking ability - Able to work independently under pressure Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Development: - Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies - Conduct market research and competitor analysis - Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities Sales Performance & Revenue Growth: - Achieve and exceed sales targets (turnover and GP) - Maintain a strong sales pipeline - Conduct a minimum of 25 sales calls per week - Ensure zero sales-related complaints and high client satisfaction Technical & Industry Expertise: - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fire detection and gas suppression systems (design, installation, maintenance) - Provide technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders - Stay current with industry trends, SANS standards and regulatory requirements Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers - Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling presentations - Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
