Printer & PABX Technician (with IT Support Skills) | Johannesburg
Location: Johannesburg, West Rand
Salary: R15,000 – R25,000 per month + Commission

Job Overview
Are you a versatile technician with a knack for office automation and IT? We are seeking a skilled Printer and PABX Technician to join a dynamic team in the West Rand.
The ideal candidate will not only be an expert in hardware maintenance (Inkjet, Laser, and Telecommunications) but will also possess foundational Microsoft 365 IT skills to provide comprehensive support to our clients. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys on-site technical challenges, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities

Hardware Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of inkjet and laser printers.

Telecoms Support: Troubleshooting and repairing PABX and various telecommunications systems.

IT Integration: Assist in setting up and configuring devices for optimal network performance, including basic Microsoft 365 user management and software troubleshooting.

On-Site Support: Provide professional, face-to-face technical assistance at client sites across Johannesburg.

Preventative Care: Perform routine maintenance to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

Reporting: Maintain precise digital records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Experience: Proven hands-on experience with both Inkjet and Laser printers.

PABX Knowledge: Familiarity with telecommunications systems and connectivity.

IT Literacy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, and user setups) and general networking.

Driver’s License: A valid South African Driver’s License is essential for daily travel to client locations.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and a proactive “problem-solver” mindset.
