Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 CTC (Depending on experience)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Technical Support Technician with strong experience across Microsoft environments, networking, and client support. This is a client-facing role requiring both onsite and remote support capabilities, based in Alberton.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in IT Technical Support (MSP experience advantageous)
Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration
Solid knowledge of:
Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
Strong networking knowledge:
Switching (VLANs, trunking, STP)
Routing (NAT, static routes, basic routing concepts)
Firewall exposure (Fortigate, Sophos, MikroTik advantageous)
Additional Experience (Highly Recommended):
Microsoft 365 Advanced:
Exchange Online (mail flow, SPF/DKIM/DMARC)
SharePoint & OneDrive administration
Teams support and troubleshooting
Azure / Entra ID:
Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional Access
Virtualization:
Hyper-V and/or VMware
Backup Solutions:
Veeam / Acronis / cloud backups
Networking (Practical):
VPN setup (IPSec, SSL VPN)
WAN troubleshooting (PPPoE, fibre, LTE failover)
VoIP (Advantage):
Yeastar / 3CX / SIP troubleshooting
Security:
Endpoint protection and basic firewall policies
RMM & Ticketing Systems:
Experience with tools like NinjaOne, Datto, Zoho Desk, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote and onsite support to clients
Troubleshoot:
Microsoft 365 issues
Server & Active Directory issues
Network and connectivity problems
Configure and maintain:
Servers and domain environments
Network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
Manage user environments, permissions, and security
Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations
Work within SLA-driven support environments
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills (client-facing role)
Ability to work independently and under pressure
