Telecommunication Key Accounts Manager Main Purpose of the job:

To acquire new business and manage existing accounts to grow revenue by promoting products and services.

Telecommunication Key Accounts Manager Main Responsibilities: 

• Identify prospective new customers in existing and new geographies. 

• Reach out to new customers through cold calling and generating sales leads.

• Analyse the territory and market’s potential.

• Actively engage with prospective customers and turn prospects into sales.

• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers and suggest solutions to meet their needs.

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments. 

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

• Co-ordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within specified timeframes.

• Generate management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.

• Assist and expedite the resolution of any customer problems and complaints during delivery in order to maximize customer satisfaction.

• Manage existing customers to prevent churn.

• Actively collaborate with the existing Sales team members.

Telecommunication Key Accounts Manager Qualifications and Skills Requirements: 

The suitable candidate should have- 

• At least 3-5 years‘ sales experience preferably in the Telecommunication/ICT/Wireless Industry.

• Prospecting, cold calling and lead qualification experience to maximise sales.

• Relationship building experience.

• Extensive product and technology knowledge/ tech savvy. 

• Sound business communication skills with a Passion for selling.

• Must be highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record as a sales representative.

• Excellent customer engagement, selling, communication, negotiation & closing skills.

• Self-Motivated, ambitious, adaptable, sociable & responsible.

R35k-R40k plus com
