Software Technician
Responsible for IT service contracts looking after client networks
Knowledge on servers / cloud hosting etc also basic hardware
Knowledge on fiber / voip beneficial
Provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner.
You will be considered as the front liner and you will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas.
The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.
Responsibilities
Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
Update customer data and produce activity reports
Walk customers through problem solving process
Troubleshooting and sequential problem resolution, solid understanding of networking, telecom, server, and desktop technologies, as well as common server and desktop operating systems, server applications, and desktop applications, experience with VOIP system
Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
Skills
·Proven working experience in providing help desk support
Proficiency in English
Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Customer service orientation
A+ N+ Certification
1 to 2 years experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R15 to R20,000.00 /month
