Senior IT/Telecoms Sales Job Description

Looking for a Key Account Manager to grow the direct sales 

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Consistently meet sales targets for our Business Solutions.

• Generate sales leads

• Manage and develop phone in and web leads

• Ensure that the correct products and services are proposed to customers

• Manage key customer relationships to ensure customer retention

• Hire, train and manage your own Account management team

• Forecast, plan, implement and monitor all sales activities


The Senior IT/Telecoms Sales is strategic thinker who is motivated by exceeding ambitious targets. A person who shows initiative, is customer-focused and has the ability to take charge. A person who has a consultative selling approach.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Highly self-motivated

• 2-5 years’ experience as a Key Account Manager in the Telecoms or Information Technology industries.

• Proven sales track record with contactable references.

• Drivers License and own transport

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational level

• Computer Literacy
