The Technician is responsible for managing the quality of service delivered to customers. 

A large part of this position is to assist and manage the area in their relative regions. A person with a pro-active and customer service mindset is required for this position.

 A good understanding of service delivery, customer service, Time Management and planning is essential to this post.

Duties & Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assist the Call Centre on daily task and customer support.
  • Installation of equipment on customers network.
  • Setup of Scanning and Printing.
  • Basic electronic testing.
  • Servicing and repairing of all low and high-volume equipment.
  • Servicing of all Mono and Colour equipment.
  • Reducing the cost on all equipment in the work area (Toner and Spares usage).
  • Ordering of spares needed on equipment serviced in that day.
  • Be able to perform minor services, repairs and spares replacement on Wide Format equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assist the meter reading department with queries
  • Completing of calls assigned to you for the day by the service controllers
  • Always be well groomed.
  • Attend all training provided by the company.

  • 2 Years as an office automation technician
